This new feature is inspired by the success of Google, an aggregator of internet websites, over other search engines such as Alsta Vista, Exite, Overutre, Lycos and All The Web.
Despite a battle between search engines and directories, Google managed to take a extremely complicated equation and render it to its simplest form, in order for it to be used easily by everyone.
Google had created a search engine with a simple algorithm that ranked internet websites. Through a ranking of Pr1 to Pr10, users would be redirected to different websites. Pr 1 designated new websites, whereas a ranking of Pr9-Pr10 where popular websites such as Facebook or Craigslist.
My Trending Stories is planning on incorporating a personalized algorithm on based on various factors such as views, likes and amount of followers to rank the articles and videos of our bloggers. Answer and Question Section
Inspired by Quora, Yahoo Answers and Reddit, My Trending Stories users will be able to ask questions and members of the MTS team will be able to respond.
The question and answer section will allow for members of the community to stretch their thinking and give various perspectives, views and options on various complex issues within today’s society.
Members will also be able to benefit from this through the revenue sharing program, as the traffic generated by the Q&A will directly translate to revenue. Podcast
This section will be tailored for musicians and radio hosts. Inspired by Soundcloud, My Trending Stories podcasts will be able to either be pre-recorded or live.
